An AI personal assistant you can text

AutoMessage silver character

AutoMessage is a service with 15 AI personal assistants you can text. Each assistant has a focused purpose, such as language practice, interview preparation, travel ideas, or Bible reflection. You choose the assistant and continue the conversation in your phone messages.

You: Help me practice a little French. Camille: « Je suis en retard. » Try a sentence with that phrase.

You: Ask me an interview question, one at a time. Alex: Tell me about a time you solved a difficult problem.

You: I have eggs and rice. What could I make? Olive: Try egg fried rice. Do you have any frozen vegetables?

You: Help me compare these two options. Sam: What matters most to you: time, cost, or something else?

What can I ask an AI assistant by text?

Start with a question small enough to act on: ‘Help me practice ordering coffee in Spanish,’ ‘Ask me one interview question,’ or ‘I have three free hours; help me narrow down a plan.’ A focused request gives the assistant something concrete to answer.

AutoMessage’s characters give each topic a dedicated thread. Camille handles French, Alex helps with career conversations, and Miles discusses travel. You can return to the relevant thread when another question appears.

Why use messages instead of another app?

If you already use your phone messages throughout the day, that is a convenient place for a short exchange. You can send the thought when it occurs and ask a follow-up in the same conversation. AutoMessage does not require a separate chat app for the conversation.

The current service delivers SMS through dedicated numbers. It does not promise native iMessage transport or blue bubbles. Choose based on the conversation you want rather than a particular bubble color.

What setup does AutoMessage need?

Choose an assistant, verify your phone number, and confirm the signup consent. Each assistant you choose has its own number. You can save the contact card that the assistant sends after an accepted opening message.

AutoMessage does not need connected email, calendar, or bank accounts for these conversational uses. The service still processes your phone number and messages to operate. Read the privacy and service terms before deciding what to share.

When should I use a broader AI agent?

Choose a broader agent when you want software to operate websites, book something, work in your accounts, or run a custom tool workflow. AutoMessage’s strength is focused conversation with a simple starting point.

You can use both. Keep an agent for account-based tasks and use a focused assistant for practice, explanations, or drafting. A conversation and an action in another service are different jobs.

How do I get a useful answer from my first text?

Name the task, give the constraint and ask for the next exchange. “I have an interview tomorrow; ask one question and wait for my answer” gives Alex a clear starting point. “Help me practice a short café conversation; correct one mistake at a time” gives Camille a different one.

Reply with your attempt or the detail the assistant asks for. If the answer misses the point, say what needs to change: the time available, your level or the tone. Finish with something you can use, such as a revised sentence, an answer outline or a plan you will verify yourself.

Messages to try

Use a message as a starting point. Change the details to fit your situation.

Ask Alex one interview question and let me answer before giving feedback.
Ask Camille to help me write a polite French message to a host.
Ask Sam what assumption I’m making in a decision.

Common questions

Are AutoMessage assistants real people?

No. AutoMessage assistants use AI to generate replies. Their names and characters help identify each focused purpose.

Do I need to install an app?

You use the website to verify your phone and sign up. The conversation then continues through your phone messages.

Can I use more than one assistant?

Yes. Choose the assistants you want to text. Each has a separate number and focused conversation.

What should I put in my first message?

Name the task, add the important constraint and say how you want to work. For interview practice, give Alex the role and ask for one question at a time. For French practice, tell Camille your level and the situation.
