What AutoMessage remembers, and how reminders work

AutoMessage keeps a small profile for each assistant conversation and can use relevant details you provide. Timezone can carry across threads. Assistants can schedule a limited number of one-time reminders; they do not provide an unlimited recurring task system.
Will the assistant remember what I tell it?
The service can keep permitted preferences and details that you explicitly share. Conversations and other remembered facts stay in their own assistant thread. Do not assume every message becomes permanent memory or that one assistant reads all your other conversations.
If a detail matters to the answer, include it again or ask the assistant to confirm it. That makes an assumption visible before you rely on it.
How do I ask for a reminder?
Describe what you want to remember and when. Include your timezone when needed. If the time is vague, the assistant may ask for details. ‘In the morning’ currently means 9 a.m. local, which the confirmation states.
The current service supports up to three one-time reminders within 30 days. It drops a reminder more than 15 minutes late. AutoMessage does not support medication or trading reminders. Use a dedicated reminder tool when dependable scheduling is central to the task.
Are check-ins the same as reminders?
No. A reminder follows a specific request and time. A check-in is an occasional message related to the assistant’s purpose. The first check-in is generally around seven to ten days after activity, during local daytime.
Unanswered check-ins get farther apart and pause after four unanswered messages. Frequency varies. A check-in does not establish a daily word, verse, lesson, or news service.
How do I change or stop something?
Ask naturally to cancel or forget a reminder. Use STOP when you want to opt out across the AutoMessage messaging service. Use DELETE when you want to erase and stop the selected assistant conversation.
Check the assistant’s confirmation for the intended change. For a task where a missed notification would have serious consequences, choose an appropriate dedicated service.
How do I ask for a reminder at a specific time?
Send the task, date, time and timezone in one request: “Remind me tomorrow at 6 p.m. Pacific time to pack my gym bag.” Read the confirmation before relying on it. If the date, timezone or task is wrong, ask for the correction and check the new confirmation.
The current limit is three one-time reminders within thirty days. An occasional assistant check-in is not a substitute for your requested reminder. Use a dedicated service when dependable delivery is essential, and do not use AutoMessage for medication or trading reminders.
