A useful place to start
What data does AutoMessage need to work?

AutoMessage needs your verified phone number and processes messages to provide AI replies. It does not need access to email, calendars, or bank accounts for its focused conversations. SMS and AI providers still process data needed to deliver the service.
Do I have to connect my accounts?
No. You can practice French, rehearse an interview, or discuss a meal without connecting another account. The assistant works with what you send in its message thread.
That does not mean the service processes no personal data. Your phone number identifies the account, and messages support the conversation. Read the privacy policy for the full description rather than relying on a general claim that AI texting is private.
Who processes the messages?
The current service uses Twilio for SMS delivery and OpenAI for generated replies. AutoMessage stores conversation text and small profiles to operate the threads. The service redacts recognized sensitive patterns before storing text or sending it to the AI provider; the SMS provider still receives the original message.
Do not send passwords, account numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive details. A summary often supplies enough context for a drafting or practice question.
How do photos and sponsored texts work?
Olive can process a supported meal photo. AutoMessage does not retain the photo bytes. A photo may still contain personal information, so choose what you send with care.
The service may send an occasional separately labeled sponsored recommendation after an eligible shopping question. The assistant answers first. The ad request uses a broad topic and opaque identifiers, rather than the conversation or profile. Read the current service disclosures for details.
The optional ad-free plan costs $4.99 a month and covers every AutoMessage assistant. The upgrade changes sponsored recommendations; it does not give the assistant access to your inbox, calendar, or bank accounts.
How do I control messages?
Reply STOP to opt out across the AutoMessage messaging service. Reply DELETE to erase and stop the selected assistant conversation. Use the support contact if you have a question about your account or a data request.
These are product controls, not a claim that AutoMessage is more private than every competing product. Compare the current policies and the access needed for your actual use.
